EPDI held a meeting with the Haki Maendeleo (HK) and the Commission for Human Rights and Good Governance (CHRAGG) in Tanzania

On August 27, 2021, the non-governmental organization
Enterprise and Parliamentary Dialogue International (EPDI) held a meeting with Haki Maendeleo(HM) and the Commission for Human Rights and Good Governance(CHRAGG) discussing a conference to be held in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania next year on 14-16 February 2022. EPDI Executive Chairman Fredrick H Chambers OBE attended the meeting accompanied by Country advisor Mr Fuad JanMohamed and on behalf of Haki Maendeleo was attended by various delegates led by their Executive Director Mr Wilfred Warioba and on behalf of the commission for human rights and good governance was represented by the Commissioner of the Commission of Human Rights and Good Governance Nyanda J Shuli with lawyer Nancy Ngula and commission investigator Francis Lunga. Also on the EPDI Tanzania side there were Executive Director Mr Dickson Mathias Muze, Treasurer Mr Philimon Kayanda, Secretary Mr Goodluck Mlinga and Nassor Ally Nassor who is a country advisor. On the Haki Maendeleo side there were other members like Nicodemus Warioba, Richard Mwansasu and Hellen William Mtokera. The meeting was very successful, because together they agreed on a number of issues related to next year’s conference on investment issues in Tanzania. The Commissioner for Human Rights and Good Governance was very pleased to meet with EPDI leaders and promised to work with EPDI.
